Works under teacher directions to assist with instructional duties and other duties as required by certified staff members.

MENTAL TASKS

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work involves the performance of duties where extreme physical exertion is not normally required to perform all aspects of the job.  Assistance is available as required to perform physically demanding tasks.  Work involves sitting for extended periods of time, requires moving from one location to another, reaching, stooping, bending, and holding and grasping objects.  Visual weakness must not prohibit the performance of assigned duties.  Verbal communicative ability may be required of public contact positions. 

 

EQUIPMENT, AIDS, TOOLS, MATERIALS

Utilize office equipment such as computers/mobile learning devices, telephones, printers, and copiers, etc.

 

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Employee will have the opportunities to attend workshops, conferences, and utilize other professional development opportunities to improve his/her skills.

 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Mainly Indoors but some outside duties are required.  Classroom environment.  Exposure to weather.  Contact with students, employees, and the public.
